This project involved a full drain maintenance service including hydro-jetting, mechanical snaking, and camera inspection of multiple exterior drainage lines.
A total of 10 drains were serviced, including area drains and two gutter drains. Several of the lines showed signs of root intrusion, which is a common issue in older underground drainage systems.
What We Found
During inspection and cleaning, we identified:
Root intrusion in multiple drain lines
Partial flow restriction in certain sections
Accumulated debris in area drains
Hydro-jetting was performed to thoroughly clean the interior pipe walls, while snaking was used where necessary to break up heavier obstructions. A camera inspection was then completed to verify proper flow and assess pipe condition.
Results
✔ All serviced lines are currently flowing and draining properly
✔ Root material was removed where accessible
✔ Camera verification confirmed open flow
Two drains still show root presence deeper in the line. While they are draining properly at this time, these lines will require more frequent preventative maintenance to avoid future blockages.

Tree roots naturally seek moisture and can re-enter drain systems over time. Regular cleaning and inspection:
