Residential Tankless Water Heater Installation

Residential Tankless Water Heater Installation

We recently completed a tankless water heater installation in View Park, CA.

Unlike traditional tank heaters, tankless systems heat water on demand, eliminating the need for a storage tank and reducing energy loss.

Benefits of tankless water heaters include:

• continuous hot water supply

• increased energy efficiency

• longer lifespan compared to tank heaters

• compact size and flexible installation options

The project included proper installation, connection of all required utilities, venting setup, and system testing to ensure reliable and safe performance.

Whole Building Hydro-Jetting Service

This project involved full hydro-jetting service for an entire building, including all unit drains and main sewer lines.

Using professional high-pressure equipment, we removed accumulated debris, grease, and buildup from the system to restore proper drainage and improve overall performance. Whole-building hydro-jetting is an effective preventative solution for multi-unit properties and commercial buildings.

Commercial Restroom Plumbing Rough-In

This project involved the demolition of existing plumbing fixtures and a complete rough-in for a new commercial restroom group in West Hollywood.

Our team reworked overhead drain lines, water supply piping, and support systems to align with new architectural and plumbing plans. All work was performed with careful coordination to ensure clean routing, proper support, and readiness for the next construction phase.

The site is now fully prepared for fixture installation and final finishes.

Residential Water Heater Replacement

This project involved removing an aging water heater and installing a new unit inside an exterior utility enclosure. The system was carefully connected to existing gas, venting, and water lines, with all safety components inspected and tested.

A properly installed water heater helps ensure consistent hot water, safe operation, and a longer service life.

Emergency Gas Leak Repair and Line Replacement

This project began with an emergency service call following a reported gas odor. The gas had already been shut off by the utility company prior to our arrival. Testing confirmed an active leak in the gas main.

Excavation revealed two galvanized gas lines resting directly against each other, which caused corrosion at the contact point and resulted in leaks on both lines. Both gas lines were fully removed and replaced with new galvanized pipe and fittings.

A new configuration was installed to separate the lines properly, and a new shutoff valve was added to allow future control and maintenance. After installation, the system was wrapped with protective tape and tested for leaks. No leaks were detected.

Sewer Line Replacement with Root Damage Near Foundation

This project involved replacing 18 feet of damaged sewer line, along with installing a new cleanout for easier future maintenance.

The existing cast iron pipe had been heavily damaged by tree roots, a common issue with older sewer systems. Left untreated, this type of damage can lead to repeated clogs, leaks, and potential foundation problems.

Our team safely removed the compromised sections and restored the sewer line to proper working condition, ensuring reliable drainage and long-term durability.

If your home has old cast iron pipes or signs of root intrusion, early repair can prevent costly damage.

Why Even Small Gas Leaks Are Dangerous

Gas leaks are not always obvious. In many cases, they occur at threaded connections and only become visible during pressure or soap testing.

In this service call, we discovered a gas leak at a threaded joint, confirmed by active bubbling — a clear indication of gas escaping under pressure. While the leak appeared minor, any gas leak presents a serious safety concern and should be addressed immediately.

Our repair process included:

  • Safely shutting off the gas supply

  • Disassembling the leaking connection

  • Properly resealing the threaded joint

  • Pressure and leak testing to confirm a secure repair

Gas line issues should never be ignored or treated as routine plumbing problems. If you smell gas or suspect a leak, contact a licensed professional right away.

Commercial Pump Room Service — Why Regular Maintenance Matters

Mechanical rooms like the one pictured play a critical role in keeping a commercial building operating smoothly. When pipes, pumps, or fittings begin to fail, the entire system can be affected — leading to leaks, flooding, or equipment shutdowns.

What We Found on Arrival

Our team was called in to address several issues:

  • Leaking fittings and moisture around the pump line

  • Corroded floor area and unsafe access to the pump pit

  • Signs of wear on the plumbing components

  • Improper sealing that could cause future leaks

Commercial systems work under high demand, so even a small issue can quickly become a major problem.

What We Did

Pacific Plumbing Team performed:

  1. Inspection of pump connections and valves

  2. Replacement and tightening of affected plumbing components

  3. Securing and resealing the access hatch

  4. Cleaning and improving the safety area around the equipment

  5. Testing system pressure and operation

Everything is now functioning reliably, and the facility is protected from future water damage.

Why Commercial Maintenance Is Important

  • Prevents leaks and emergency shutdowns

  • Protects equipment and extends its lifespan

  • Reduces business downtime

  • Ensures safety and compliance

If your building relies on pumps, drains, backflow devices, or boiler systems, regular professional maintenance is essential.
